Burj Khalifa’s new meeting room raises the bar with digital integration capabilities

Dubai, UAE: A newly unveiled executive boardroom at Burj Khalifa is poised to set a new international standard for meeting spaces following the strategic integration of digital tools designed to deliver a future-ready meeting environment curated for high-level interactions and decision-making.

The project, completed through a collaboration between NMK Electronics, a Midwich Group Company, and Innovative Concept Audio Video Trading Ltd (ICAV), was purpose-built as a new implementation. The boardroom integrates nine Arthur Holm motorized retractable displays discreetly embedded into the executive table, manufactured by JMM, preserving visual elegance while enabling instant digital collaboration. “Delivering a space of this calibre required more than advanced technology. It demanded precision, discretion, and a deep understanding of how executive environments function at the highest level,” said Abdallah Ishbeata, Manager at ICAV, underscoring the intent to balance performance with architectural refinement.

The architectural and interior design of the executive boardroom and full-floor office was led by CK Architecture Interiors LLC, appointed as the Interior Designer and Procurement Manager for the project. The design delivers a modern and elegant full-floor office environment, combining refined aesthetics with functional excellence suited to a high-level corporate setting within Burj Khalifa.

The CEO Conference Room was envisioned as a flagship collaboration space, developed through a close integration of high-level design and advanced technology. CK Architecture Interiors ensured that sophisticated architectural detailing and premium materiality seamlessly accommodated cutting-edge AV systems, preserving visual clarity while enabling powerful digital collaboration. The result is a future-ready executive environment where design, technology, and performance converge at the highest standard.

The solution is supported by a unified technology ecosystem featuring QSC control, DSP, and PTZ cameras with intelligent speaker tracking, a Televic digital conference system for structured meeting management, and Lightware AVoIP infrastructure for flexible, low-latency video distribution. A centralized control interface ensures intuitive operation across all systems. Reflecting on the design approach, Waleed Zaghloul, Business Unit Head – C&C at NMK Electronics, said, “This project demonstrates how intelligent AV design can elevate executive spaces without overpowering them, delivering a collaborative environment that is secure, scalable, and built for long-term operational excellence.”

ICAV led the system design and on-site integration, working closely with NMK Electronics on solution design and supply to ensure the technology aligned seamlessly with the architectural and functional requirements of the space.

The completed boardroom now delivers a refined, reliable collaboration environment that supports secure communication, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability, reinforcing the role of intelligent AV design in mission-critical executive spaces.
