Description

The Williams AV PLW 051 is purpose-built for permanent assistive listening hearing loop systems where wire must undergo harsh placement conditions. Unlike standard PVC-insulated cables that can degrade or corrode when exposed to wet ground or curing concrete, this cable features a specialized heavy-duty casing. It is ideal for direct concrete encasement as well as placement underneath outdoor asphalt or gravel roads.

Key Features

  • 200 meters (656 feet) of continuous black cable.
  • 2.5 mm² (class 5 tinned annealed flexible copper).
  • Durable Insulation: Ethyl-Propylene Rubber and Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene (EPR-CSP) composition.
  • Environmental Ratings: Heat-resistant, oil-resistant, and flame-retardant (HOFR).
  • Operates up to 90°C (194°F) with a minimum bending temperature of -20°C (-4°F).
