Description

Williams AV PLW 050 is engineered to endure harsh subterranean and surface-transition environments where standard PVC-insulated wires fail. When laying induction hearing loops in settings that involve wet concrete pours, roadbeds, or paving stones, this cable resists chemical corrosion from curing concrete and mechanical abrasion from aggregate. It provides a reliable, long-lasting conductor to carry amplified audio signals from a loop driver safely to the designated listening area.

Key Features

  • Direct Burial Design: Built to withstand placement under concrete pours, asphalt, pavers, and gravel or dirt roads.
  • Advanced Insulation: Features Ethyl-Propylene Rubber and Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene (EPR-CSP) insulation that is heat-resistant, oil-resistant, and flame-retardant (HOFR).
  • Formulated to resist the alkaline and corrosive chemical effects of wet concrete far better than standard PVC wire.
  • Contains a 2.5 mm² tinned annealed flexible copper conductor (Class 5 composition).
  • Comes on a 100-meter (328.1-foot) reel.
