Description

The Williams AV IR SY12-02 system provides a comprehensive, out-of-the-box infrared and Wi-Fi hybrid solution designed for secure spaces like courtrooms, council chambers, and corporate boardrooms. The system uses invisible infrared light waves to keep sensitive audio proceedings completely contained within the physical boundaries of a room, preventing any outside overspill. Driven by the rack-mounted IR M1 control center, it broadcasts stable baseband audio signals via CAT5e cables to powerful remote emitters. It also supports simultaneous dual-mode audio streaming over Wi-Fi, allowing participants or visitors to use their own smart devices alongside traditional dedicated infrared receivers.

  • Large-Area Dual-Emitter Design: Includes two IR E4 emitters and a metal linking bar (MLB 003) capable of covering up to 18,000 square feet (1,673 m²) in single-channel mode.
  • Dual-Channel Operation: Modulates two independent audio channels, making it ideal for multi-language translation or distinct program streams.
  • CAT5e Connectivity Support: Features four RJ-45 emitter ports on the modulator delivering baseband signals, RS-485 communication, and +48VDC power over a single cable.
  • Rechargeable Stethoset Receivers: Supplied with five IR RX20 receivers that offer roughly 8 hours of battery life per charge and a 5-bay drop-in charging station (CHG 520).
