Description

The DW SWUAIM upgrade equips standard Digi-Wave 400 transceivers with specialized firmware designed for complex, multilingual environments. By sending an existing DLT 400 unit to Williams AV, the upgraded device gains the Advanced Interpretation Module capabilities. This makes it ideal for international conferences, courtrooms, guided tours, and bilingual meetings where users need to switch seamlessly between multiple language channels, manage separate subgroups, and run structured question-and-answer sessions.

  • Interpretation Q&A Mode: Allows quick switching between two languages and supports multiple open microphones per language for dynamic audience participation.
  • Custom Channel Naming: Lets operators customize names with up to 5 characters or pick from 100 pre-loaded ISO language codes.
  • Subgroup Division & Control: Splits large groups into smaller subsets of channels and permits offline programming of names and subgroups so active events are never interrupted.
  • Hardware Investment Protection: Maximizes current inventory by upgrading existing DLT 400 units instead of forcing full hardware replacements.
