Description

The Radial Catapult RX4L serves as a highly efficient destination module within Radial’s modular Catapult system. It replaces heavy, expensive, and bulky copper multi-channel snakes by utilizing ubiquitous shielded twisted-pair network cables to transport pristine audio.This unit splits four incoming channels into eight total male XLR connections: four straight pass-through direct outputs and four transformer-isolated outputs. The integrated line-level isolation transformers are optimized to break up ground loops, effectively eliminating hum and buzz.

  • 4-Channel Routing Over Cat 5/6: Transmits four channels of high-fidelity analog or AES digital audio over a single standard network cable
  • Line-Level Isolation Transformers: Built-in transformers isolate audio lines to eliminate troublesome ground loop noise
  • Eight XLR Outputs: Four direct-wired XLR male outputs alongside four transformer-isolated XLR outputs
  • Ethercon RJ45 Input & Thru: N RJ45 connection input from the transmitter and a parallel RJ45 pass-through port to feed
  • Ground Lift Switch: Lifts the ground path on the Cat 5 cable to combat hum and buzz
