Description

The Radial J48 Active Direct Box is a high-performance, 48V phantom-powered active direct box that delivers exceptional headroom, low distortion, and a linear frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz without needing batteries. The J48 is designed to handle extreme transient peaks without choking by converting standard 48V phantom power into a higher internal rail voltage. Built into a tough 14-gauge steel book-end chassis with internal I-beam construction, it protects switches and connectors from heavy road use while eliminating stress on the internal circuit board.
