Studio Guitar Interface, TX & RX, Jensen-Equipped, Extend cables without loss

Description

Radial Engineering SGI breaks down into two separate steel enclosures designed for demanding stage and studio tasks. The TX unit uses a discrete Class-A buffer and Radial's Drag Control load correction to feed an unbalanced instrument input into a balanced line level. The RX unit converts the balanced signal back to a high-impedance instrument output to match a standard guitar amplifier correctly. This setup allows a guitarist to sit in a control room while tracking through amps in a remote isolation room, or play off-stage amps on a large live stage without signal lag.

Key Features

  • Long-Distance Range: Transmits pure guitar or bass signals up to 300 feet (100 meters) with zero noticeable loss
  • Jensen Transformer Isolation: Transformer coupling to block ground loops and eliminate hum
  • Drag Control: Load correction on the TX unit to restore the exact feel and tone of plugging straight into an amp
  • Flexible Power Options: Operates using an included 15V DC adapter or standard 9V to 15V pedalboard power supplies
  • Ground Lift: Built-in switch on the receiver to further banish unwanted noise
