Description

The Radial HotShot ABo is a passive audio signal switcher designed to instantly redirect a single balanced XLR input source to two separate XLR destinations (Output A or Output B) using a heavy-duty latching footswitch. Built like a tank for professional touring and live stage environments, it allows musicians, presenters, and engineers to seamlessly control their signal routing. The unit operates completely passively, meaning it requires no external power or batteries to function. It is commonly used as a stage talkback box (redirecting a vocalist's mic from the main PA to the band/crew intercom), an effects toggle (switching between a dry channel and a wet channel with reverb), a multi-zone paging control, or a simple hands-free cough/mute switch.

  • Passive True-Bypass Circuitry: Operates on a 100% passive design that eliminates the need for batteries or external power
  • One-Push Latching Operation: Outfitted with a heavy-duty, high-cycle latching mechanical footswitch to toggle the input source
  • Independent Attenuation Pads: -15dB pad on both Output A and Output B to balance and match signal levels between devices
  • Output Level Trim: Dedicated -6dB (or -3dB depending on downstream gear) trim switch specifically on Output B
  • Ground Lift Protection: N integrated ground lift switch on Output B to break ground loops and eliminate unwanted stage hum
