The Radial Engineering Pro-Iso (R800 1150) bridges the gap between high-output professional mixing consoles and low-level unbalanced recording or playback devices like laptops, tablets, and consumer recorders. By utilizing a cost-effective custom transformer focused heavily on the voice frequency range, it delivers clean vocal intelligibility making it ideal for spoken word, news gathering, and sermons. Its fully passive circuit requires no external power, while built-in transformer isolation actively blocks stray DC currents and eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
