Passive DI for high output acoustic, guitar bass & keyboards

Description

Radial ProDI is an industry-standard, general-duty passive direct box designed to seamlessly connect high-impedance musical instruments to low-impedance pro-audio systems without introducing distortion or signal degradation. At its core is a custom-wound Eclipse ET-DB2 transformer that handles massive audio transients smoothly. This transformer provides 100% electrical isolation, neutralizing pesky hums and buzzes caused by ground loops. To block stray radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic fields in crowded venues, the transformer is enclosed in a protective MuMETAL® shield.

Key Features

  • Custom Eclipse Transformer: Highly linear response from 20Hz to 18.5KHz with minimal phase distortion
  • Total Signal Isolation: Transformer coupling eliminates noisy ground loops, stripping away buzz and hum.MuMETAL®
  • Shielding: Encases the core transformer to block electromagnetic interference from nearby gear or power lines
  • Built Like a Tank: The 14-gauge steel I-beam chassis prevents board-flexing and protects internal connections from cracking
  • Book-End Shroud Profile: Steel casing extends past switches and jacks to guard them against drop damage or accidental toggling
