6 slot power-rack, desktop format,1600mA power supply

Description

Radial Engineering SixPack is a heavy-duty, portable desktop power rack designed to house, mix, match, and safely power up to six 500 Series modules. It allows audio engineers to build customized stereo channel strips or unique signal chains right on their desktops or as a studio sidecar. Built from protective 14-gauge steel with a resilient powder-coated finish, the unit provides rigorous shielding against external stray magnetic fields and easily withstands mobile transport. To drastically reduce signal-path noise, the SixPack utilizes an isolated external power supply. Each module slot is built with double-sided EDAC 15-pin receptacles ensuring total backward compatibility with historic API formats. Additionally, it features built-in protective circuitry to isolate malfunctioning modules and protect the rest of your hardware chain.

Key Features

  • 6-Slot Capacity: Houses up to six 500 Series modules simultaneously
  • Robust Power Supply: 1600 mA of shared current, averaging over 265 mA per slot to satisfy power-hungry tube units without sagging
  • 14-Gauge Steel Chassis: Protects internal components and naturally shields against magnetic or RF interference
  • External Power Connection: Links via a locking 5-pin XLR cable to minimize induced hum and noise
  • XLR Front Panel Connectivity: Immediate patch accessibility from the front of the unit
