Logistics Coordinator – Riyadh, KSA

NMK Electronics, a leading group of AV distributors in the Middle East is growing and looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator for its Riyadh office. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Sales team insightful and instrumental to our success. The ideal candidate should be an experienced Logistics professional, with a proven background in the same field and must possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipments, manage inventory levels, optimize transportation routes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and operate 3 PL / company-owned warehouses where the goods are stored 
  • Meet and greet customers/suppliers arriving at the warehouse
  • Handle phone calls and ensure availability when in need.
  • Ensure all shipping documents like invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and Saber are in place before moving any shipment
  • Ensure proper tracking is maintained for all export and import shipments.
  • Ensure all SKUs have a Saber registration in place.
  • Responsible to issue Saber shipment certificate arriving to Saudi Arabia
  • Ensure all wireless/blue tooth devices have CITC approvals in place
  • Responsible to get any other government authority approvals if needed for importation/exportation of shipments as required.
  • Make sure all approvals are in place well in advance so there are no last-minute delays.
  • Ensure customer-signed delivery notes and invoices are scanned and uploaded in the ERP on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure serial numbers are entered in ERP at the time of GRN and on dispatch
  • Ensure proper aging is maintained based on FIFO
  • Ensure that the safety stock of consumables like empty cartons, plastic bags, office stationery, etc. is maintained 
  • Preparing daily cash and cheque reports and submitting them to accounts. 
  • Oversee all aspects of logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Deal promptly and professionally with all pre-qualifications / Tenders / Projects, and arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Raise the company and business profile by representing NMK/MIDWICH at industry events, high-level networking, and promoting an image of professionalism
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a network of transporters, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
  • You will be monitoring and analyzing KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Need to have strong communication skills, liaising with internal stakeholders across the organization to understand their logistics requirements and provide regular updates on the shipment status.
  • As part of your responsibility, you shall comply with all relevant local laws and regulations governing logistics operations, ensuring all shipments meet import/export compliance standards.
  • A proactive team player and identify new opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce logistics operation costs.

Education, Experience, and Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Diploma/Relevant degree/certification
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience in Logistics/warehousing
  • Experience in Saber certification and Import and export
  • Highly organized, proactive, and a team player.
  • Should have knowledge of ERP system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
  • Must be familiar with Arabic and English, professional.
  • A local driving license is mandatory

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation

  • Able to join on a short notice
  • Must be in KSA
  • Arabic Speaker
