Key Account Manager (AV- System Integration) – Dubai, UAE

NMK Electronics, a leading group of AV distributors in the Middle East is growing and is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (AV - System Integration) for its Dubai office. The successful candidate will join our dynamic sales team insightful and instrumental to our continued success. NMK Electronics has recently joined a global Group that is listed on the FTSE AIM 100 market in the UK and so this represents a very exciting time to join us.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced industry professional, with a proven background in the AV industry preferably from a distribution background, possesses excellent communication and combines a passion for the audio-video industry having experience in dealing with AV- System Integration (SI) partners and the ability to show perseverance in order to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term professional customer relationships with existing, new, and defined clients to develop a new customer database
  • Conduct sales demo, technical, and pre-sales presentations to customers
  • Responsible for site visits for better understanding of customer requirements and drive/Support System Integrators in sales processes for projects and assist in both product specification and basic system design requirements
  • Collaborate with management to provide customer feedback and recommend operational changes to meet emerging trends
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc
  • Prepare and deliver customer sales quotes and liaise between clients and the support team to quickly resolve issues
  • Able to assist the organization’s sales and growth effort by contributing to new customer acquisition and should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients
  • Maintain excellent relationships and after-sales support to build mutual confidence in line with the agreed business strategy
  • Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within the target markets agreed by the leadership teams.
  • Provide proposals, technical and commercial negotiations, and subsequent follow-ups to finalize orders
  • Identify and build a long-term active pipeline, exploring both existing markets and targeting new ones
  • Make cold calls for new business leads and keep prospective client databases updated
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Take complete ownership of, develop, and deliver exceptional sales and tender documents and presentations, in line with company standards. Generate tenders and relevant document preparation, using internal technical resources
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends
  • Utilize marketing resources to drive account retention and growth.
  • Liaise regularly with the Management to ensure they are fully updated on all sales activities and potential new business opportunities
  • Deal promptly and professionally with all pre-qualifications / Tenders / Projects, and arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Raise the company and business profile by representing NMK/MIDWICH at industry events, high-level networking, and promoting an image of professionalism

Education, Experience, and Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma or relevant degree
  • Must have a degree in marketing/sales or relevant experience
  • Must have 6-8 years of experience in business account management
  • Should have knowledge of CRM/ERP system
  • A highly motivated and target-driven individual with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client’s needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication are required
  • A local driving license is mandatory

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
