HME DX300ES on September 29, 2015 | Marketing Team With the HME DX300ES, wireless intercom communication has become more portable and flexible for live event, remote broadcast and movie/video production crews. The system supports hands-free, two-way digital conversation with two-channel interfacing for intercom communications. Its compact design makes it highly portable and very quick to set up and operate. Ideal for today's frequency-congested markets, the HME DX300ES is a digital spread spectrum system that requires no frequency coordination or license for operation. With Spectrum Friendly technology, users can select the 2.4 GHz operating frequency range – low band, high band or full band – to avoid frequency conflicts. Special features include two-channel operation, dedicated channel relays, battery operation, and four-wire audio interfaces. Use with the BP300 COMMUNICATOR ® or WH300 All-in-One Headset. Each base can support up to 3 full-duplex or 15 push-to-transmit shared users; 4 bases linked to support a maximum of 60 users. Hands-free two-way digital conversation with 2-channel interfacing for intercom communications.ETSI Compatibility as of January 1, 2015The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has mandated a change in the way wireless products operate in the 2.4GHz bands. This new directive, EN 300 328 v1.8.1, requires Clear-Com to modify its HME DX-Series wireless intercom products and ship only v1.8.1 compliant products into countries that require CE compliance, beginning January 1, 2015.What is EN 300 328 v1.8.1?A new ETSI standard to address inteference issues within the 2.4GHz ISM band. The main changes relate to how devices communicate and allocate radio space when they are in the same area. A new "adaptive mode" is required, which provides a mechanism so equipment can adapt to its environment by identifying other transmissions present in the 2.4GHz band. How will this affect Clear-Com HME DX-Series products?Clear-Com has modified its HME DX-Series wireless intercom products to be v1.8.1 compliant and created new model numbers for products sold in EU countries.Characteristics of new v1.8.1 compliant product:Spectrum-friendly feature will no longer be available.New beltpacks will be backwards compatible with older versions of the base stations.Older versions of beltpacks will not work with new base stations.Testing is more important when installing in order to determine antenna placement and coverage area, particularly when other 2.4GHz equipment is nearby.New HME DX-Series EU Model Numbers:CC Model #DescriptionCZ12013BP200 beltpack w/HS15 headset, EU versionCZ12014BP200 bletpack w/out headset, EU versionCZ12015BP210 beltpack w/out headset, EU versionCZ12020MB100 base station, EU versionCZ12027BS121 base station, EU versionCZ12028BS200 base station w'out headset, EU versionCZ12029BS210 base station w/out headset, EU versionCZ12017BP300 beltpack and MB300 base station, EU versionCZ12030MB300ES base station, EU version
