Brand Manager – Lighting Portfolio – Riyadh, KSA

NMK Electronics, a leading group of AV distributors in the Middle East is growing and is looking for an experienced Brand Manager - Lighting and Rigging for its Riyadh office. The successful candidate will join our dynamic sales team insightful and instrumental to our continued success. NMK Electronics has recently joined a global Group that is listed on the FTSE AIM 100 market in the UK and so this represents a very exciting time to join us.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced industry professional, with a proven background in the AV industry preferably from a distribution background, and possesses excellent communication skills. A successful candidate combines a passion for the audio-video industry and has the ability to show perseverance in order to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive all Product sales activity within the Middle East through stage/rental and broadcast market
  • Schedule and arrange regular demonstrations to prospective clients in their own facility
  • Work with Marketing Team to develop strong reference portfolios and promote the brands in the Lighting/Rigging Division and Design Lighting Set-Ups
  • Work with the orders department to process the client’s orders and make sure that the clients are happy with the delivery of goods
  • Negotiation to win orders with the most beneficial commercial and financial terms
  • Be active in the local and regional market to support customers that may need after-sales service support or have technical queries
  • Submit a Monthly detailed business plan identifying sales objectives, sales opportunities, and sales forecasts for the Quarter
  • Responsible for the development and analysis of market information for strategic planning purposes
  • Work to establish and build a sales team around the lighting division
  • Develop a close relationship with technical support and application teams to support you
  • Collect and report information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory
  • Create demand for brands/products by demoing to end-users
  • Work with the orders department to schedule purchase orders of the brands in the lighting division
  • Able to lead and scale a team to grow this market segment
  • Participate in sales activities including customer visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars, product demonstrations, and customer training seminars
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date build customer information on CRM/ERP system

Education, Experience, and Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma or relevant degree
  • Must have a degree in marketing/sales or relevant experience
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience in business account management
  • Should have knowledge of CRM/ERP system
  • A highly motivated and target-driven individual with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client’s needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication are required
  • Must be available in Saudia Arabia
  • A local driving license is mandatory

  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
