A successful candidate combines a passion for stage lighting and audiovisual systems with a competitive and creative business sense. The candidate will look to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and build long-term relationships with a willingness to travel regularly in order to work directly with clients in their own environment is a priority. As a part of our dynamic sales team, he or she will be comfortable in a challenging role that demands clear communication and presentation skills with significant experience in the Middle East, and ideally, the experience of working as part of an international Group.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive all Product sales activity within the Middle East through stage/rental and broadcast marketSchedule and arrange regular demonstrations to prospective clients in their own facilitySubmit a Monthly detailed business plan identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, and sales forecasts for the QuarterParticipate in sales activities including: customer visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars, product demonstrations and customer training seminarsNegotiation to win orders with most beneficial commercial and financial termsResponsible for development and analysis of market information for strategic planning purposesWork with Marketing Team to develop strong reference portfolios and promote the brands in the Lighting/Rigging Division and Design Lighting Set-UpsDevelop close relationship with technical support and application teams to support youCollect and report information on all competitive activity within the assigned territoryCreate demand for brands/products by demoing to end usersBe active in the local and regional market to support customers that may need after sales service support or have technical queriesWork with the orders department to schedule purchase orders of the brands in the lighting divisionAble to lead and scale a team to grow this market segment Work with the orders department to process the client’s orders and make sure that the clients are happy with the delivery of goodsWork to establishing and build team around the lighting division and to expand the product offering/portfolioMaintain accurate and up to date customer information on CRM/ERP systemEducation, Experience, and Key CompetenciesAssociate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience Basic electrical and lighting knowledgeKnowledge of CRM/ERP system, professional stage and events lighting solutionsExperience in Capture or other similar softwarePreferred Pre Sales design of lighting solutions, Calculating Electrical load requirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following disciplines lighting/rigging, and should have DMX and events lighting experienceHighly motivated and target driven individual with a proven track record in salesExcellent selling, communication and negotiation skillsPrioritizing, time management and organizational skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needsRelationship management skills and openness to feedbackExcellent verbal and written communicatioVacancy Type: Full timeJob Location: Dubai - UAEWhat we offer: Market competitive packageThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by an employee assigned to this position.
