Description
GPIO is a general purpose IO switching interface for control integration of an AHM matrix processor or dLive/Avantis mixing system and 3rd party hardware. Up to 8 GPIO modules can be connected to an AHM, Avantis or dLive system – directly or via a 100Mb/s network switch – using a Cat5 cable.
Key Features
- Flexible I/O & Connectors: Features 8 opto-isolated inputs (switched to ground) and 8 relay outputs. Seven outputs are normally open (N/O), and one is switchable between normally open and normally closed (N/C)
- Ethernet & PoE Capability: Uses standard Cat5 network cables, simplifying setup over long distances (<100m). The unit is IEEE 802.3af-2003 PoE (Power over Ethernet) compliant, letting you power the unit directly from a network switch
- Voltage Outputs: Includes 2× +10V DC outputs (max 500mA total) to easily trigger external devices or indicators without a separate power supply
- System Scalability: Up to 8 GPIO units can be networked and daisy-chained in a single system to expand control across large venues
- Software Integration: Functions and parameters are fully programmed using Allen & Heath AHM System Manager or dLive Director/Avantis Director software
