Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics, local
distributors for Electro-Voice speakers, amplifiers and processors
in the United Arab Emirates, have supplied Dubai based Prisme
International with a new compact line array system. The rental
company has already purchased a number of Electro-Voice equipment
in the past, however it has recently decided to upgrade to a full
fledge line array system from EV.

The X-Line Very Compact (XLE) is designed to provide outstanding sonic quality in demanding applications where limited size and weight has to be achieved. While expectations of audio performance in terms of SPL, natural response and uniform coverage have expanded, demand for smaller and lighter sound systems has increased. XLE-systems are ideal for critical audio requirements where overall cluster size is highest priority. Both systems are well suited for many types of live and install applications.
“EV has an established reputation in the live sound arena, large events like Live 8, Metallica concerts and the BRIT awards all rely on their line arrays,” commented Chicco Hiranandani, Business Development Manager. He added, “with the introduction of the XLD and XLE systems, the latest technology and superior audio quality can now be used not in just live shows but also high profile corporate events. This is especially true since most clients expect an event without large speaker boxes to be seen.”
