Since then, Shure have made many breakthroughs starting with the E500PTH. This new set of earphones included the latest technology to provide an innovative three way system to provide bass, mids and highs through a small earphone. With these stunning ear pieces, Shure included the new Push-To-Hear (PTH) device allowing the user to easily switch between an easily heard environment to a submersed pleasurable experience.
This year, Shure has taken this success to a next level by revamping their complete product offering. With the new SE Series, the line up of consumer earphones include the SE110, SE210, SE310, SE420 and SE530. The SE530 also comes in the variation of the SE530PTH, which includes the PTH device in the box. Other accessories now available include a PTH that can be separately purchased and used with any Shure earphone plus the various type of ear sleeves that are available in many forms such as foam, rubber and triple flange sleeves.
Soon, Shure will also have the Music Phone Adapter (MPA) accessory available, allowing any Shure Sound Isolating Earphone to be used with the revolutionary Apple iPhone. This adapter will allow the user to listen to his or her music or video on the iPhone like a traditional iPod + earphone set up. However, once the user makes or receives a call, then he or she can attend to the call with the earphones still on and benefit from the sound (noise) isolating properties of the earphone.
