NMK Electronics Ent. supports growing local talent

NMK Electronics Ent. was at Revolution, held recently at the Nashwan Hall, Al Nasr Leisureland, to provide the sound and to support the show.

The event brought together 14 local bands from Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to thrill a crowd of 600 young and old fans. All of the microphones used on stage were from Shure and included the SM58 for vocals and the SM57 for the guitar and bass amps, in addition to the PGDMK6 Drum Mic Kit, a complete drum package with 6 microphones for the kick drum, snare drum, toms, percussion, overhead and cymbals.

The Dynacord Cobra 2 system was used to fill the hall with clear and crisp sound. This is the the world's first compact line array system and many of the attendees at the show were overwhelmed with the sound that day.

The event organizer, Kiran Sequeira had this to say, "The Dynacord Cobra 2 System that NMK electronics supplied us with was truly amazing. Setup time was minimal thanks to the ingenious design. NMK had the entire system up and running in under 2 hours. The 32 channel Midas mixer that was used proved to be perfect for a mid sized event like Revolution. NMK also provided all the SHURE microphones used during the show and we were not disappointed."

A Midas Venice 320 32 channel console was used by the FOH Engineer,Milton Kyvernitis, to deliver that professional mix. He said, "Extremely professional. For the medium-sized event that it was, the Venice and the Cobra made a deadly team!" Other equipment used were a DBX 166 XL compressor, DBX 2215 graphic equalizer, Alesis Akira effects processor, Antari 515 XT smoke machine and Robe moving heads for the lights.

Another highlight of the evening was the raffle sponsored by NMK Electronics Ent., a Digitech RP-100 was the prize for the winner.
