Electro-Voice intensifies the excitement at the Dubai Autodrome

NMK Electronics Ent. have recently provided a number of Electro-Voice speakers to Bond Communications, AV integrators for the Dubai Autodrome and Business Park.

The Autodrome is part of the AED 18 Billion Dubailand project, and its developers Union Properties, have already invested AED 350 million on the first phase. It is located roughly 10 minutes from the city center and is an area of approximately 3 sq. km. The racing facilities will be approved by the FIA and FIM and it will also include a fully-equipped media centre and control tower. Also, a 7000 seat grandstand will be part of the 5.39 km Grade 1 race track.

Bond Communications, AV integrators of also the Conference Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, have used 70 weather proof loudspeakers and 35 amplifiers to bring the excitement of the track to the spectators in the grandstand. 'The System delivers the highest possible performance for both line and vocal programs,' Bond spokesman said, 'We took into consideration that the sound reinforcement should override the noise generated by the F1 cars along with the 7000 audiences, we were thinking nothing but loud, clarity, performance and proper weathered proofed speakers to prevent from the rough weather conditions where heat, humidity and dust is extremely high in this part of the world.'

Electro-Voice, a 77 year old manufacturer of high quality speakers for various applications, has enjoyed great success in the region this past year. Projects that include EV products include the newly completed Madinat Jumeirah resort and the upcoming 7-star Conference Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Speakers included for the Autodrome project include the Sx300PI and Sx600PI, weather proofed loudspeakers with 300watts and 600watts of power, respectively. Amplifiers used with these powerful and clear loudspeakers include the CP2200 and Q66.

"EV has been in the market for roughly 11 years now. We have had success with our rental customers, with restaurants and numerous hotel outlets. However, things have changed with Electro-Voice bagging some major contracts with projects like the Madinat Jumeirah, Emirates Palace Hotel and now the Dubai Autodrome & Business Park. This only goes to show that EV meets our clients' requirements and the brand is setting a new standard in the market,' commented Chicco Hiranandani, Product Manager at NMK.
