Founded by Nicolaos M. Kyvernitis in 1985, NMK Electronics started off as a small rental company in the United Arab Emirates with only two employees, renting out pro-audio PA and Lighting systems.

About three years after, the company had moved into audio and lighting product distribution, acquiring exclusive distributorships for some of the most reputed audio/ lighting product manufacturers known for within the Middle East region.

Since 1985, the company has expanded an amount so great it holds a large part of the market share in the supply of pro-audio and lighting equipment, and as such has made a very good name for itself. The quality of service and professionalism of the staff (a very rare find in this industry in the U.A.E.) from NMK has brought in clientele not only from countries in the Middle East region, but from outside as well, such as Russia, Iran, India, Pakistan, Africa, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and many more.

The market share NMK holds includes dealers, contractors, rental companies and the end-user alike. Being the distributor of the most reputed products in the audio and lighting industry in the Middle East, NMK no longer holds a rental division since they supply all the rental companies in the region.
