Poetry competition on Abu Dhabi TV uses UHF-R microphones
Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises, distributors of Shure microphones and audio electronics in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman have supplied production company Pyramedia Productions with 18 channels of the wireless flagship series of Shure - UHF-R.
Pyramedia use the state of the art wireless microphone system to capture the voices of the contesting poets in the Millions' Poet competition on Abu Dhabi TV.
Over 40 contestants from various countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Somalia, Morocco and Jordan compete to win a million UAE Dirhams by reciting poetry that they have developed themselves.
The UHF-R series is the most powerful and flexible wireless system to date from Shure. The system masters the high pressure and extreme conditions of any large-scale touring or installation environment while delivering uncompromising Shure sound.
Rock-solid engineering, the latest technology, and unparallel RF performance provide sound professionals with all the features and flexibility they need to tightly control up to 108 systems for the most elaborate productions.
'Pyramedia have made the right choice in choosing the UHF-R,' commented Chicco Hiranandani, Business Development Manager at NMK. He added, 'The team can focus on capturing all the audio content and mixing it down to produce a much sought after show then rather having to troubleshoot technical issues during a live show where a second take is really not an option.'
