Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics, local distributors for Electro-Voice speakers, amplifiers and processors in the United Arab Emirates, have recently supplied an Electro-Voice line array system to Pyramid Trading for a facility in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

The system comprises of 12 cabinets of the XLD 281, 4 cabinets of the XS 212 and additional processors, amplifiers to complete the system.

The XLD281 is a three-way design cabinet using Coverage Control Technology (CCT) to provide control horizontal coverage to 250Hz. It can be used in triamp mode, or in biamp using a sophisticated internal passive network.

"Prior to this sale NMK have sold a combination of 300 line array cabinets from EV so the new count is now 316. This is the second XLD system used in a fixed application, the first of which is in a major nightclub in Dubai," commented Richie Hiranandani, Marketing Manager.
