Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics, local distributors for Electro-Voice speakers, amplifiers and processors in the United Arab Emirates for over the past 20 years, have come to a mutual agreement with EVI Audio GmbH to end their business relationship. NMK will continue to be able to procure products from EV until April 15th, 2010.

NMK, local distributors of professional audio brands in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Cyprus have been in existence since 1985. Over the years the company has built itself to be one of the leading players in the market representing major brands manufacturing a variety of products that include microphones, mixing consoles, amplifiers, speakers, intercom systems, cables and connectors, etc.

Over the years, NMK have received a number of awards from Electro-Voice for their efforts in the UAE. The awards include Largest EVID Supply for a Hotel in 2003, which was for the Madinat Jumeirah resort. Additionally the Most Improved Sales in 2005, and further accomplishments during 2003 and 2006 as Best Distributor for the Year.

“Both NMK and EVI Audio have come to the conclusion that it be best to part ways as our agendas are no longer aligned,” commented Richie Hiranandani, Marketing Coordinator. He added, “We will continue to support our customers as much as possible and ensure that they are not negatively affected through this transition.”
