Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics, local distributors for Electro-Voice speakers, amplifiers and processors in the United Arab Emirates, have recently supplied Crystal Studio with 16 cabinets of the Electro-Voice Zx5.

In addition to the speakers, the Qatar based rental firm also purchased 7 of the Electro-Voice CP-4000S amplifier.

The Zx5 is a contemporary 15", two-way cabinet with a high-impact, composite enclosure, featuring the newest generation of EV components: the all-new DXV3150 500-watt, 15" woofer and the all-new, two" neodymium ND2 compression driver. While the CP4000S is the flagship of EV's Precision Series Compact amplifiers, the new amplifiers offer proven Precision Series performance and reliability in a new compact, lightweight format made possible by a highly efficient Class-H design, which generates considerably less heat.
