Ajman Radio adopts Blue Mice
NMK Electronics have recently supplied Ajman-based broadcasters Ajman Independent Studios with two Blue Microphones for their facilities.
Ajman Independent Studios currently operate the tv channel Ajman TV Channel 4 and three radio stations, which include Channel 4 FM 104.8 a English format station, 89.1 an Indian language radio station and also Arabic music station 107.8.
After the successful launch of the Blue Microphone range at NMK's stand in CABSAT this year, AIS tested and decided to purchase two Mouse microphones. With its unique rotating capsule, The Mouse is one of the most versatile and snazzy-looking mics you'll ever lay eyes on. The Mouse is a cardioid condenser, which employs a hand-built single-membrane, large diaphragm capsule. Enclosed within a rotating spherical grille, the capsule can be positioned and adjusted in the smallest of spaces. Perfectly suited for broadcast and voiceover work and any other sources where accurate reproduction of low frequency transients is desired.
'Ajman Radio's studio engineer approached us at CABSAT as they were interested in new on-air microphones, so we let them actually try the mouse live', said Romeo Dela Torre, Sales Executive at NMK. 'The results of the test were successful as expected and we look forward to increasing awareness of the brand and its products with the studio and broadcast market.'
Founded in 1995 by Skipper Wise and Martins Saulespurens, Blue has grown from a desire to create a few hand-built mics for fellow musicians into a unique, multi-faceted audio company with a prestigious line of award-winning microphones and accessories. Headquartered in Westlake Village, California and with engineering and manufacturing facilities in Latvia, Blue Microphones continues to grow and lead the way with cutting-edge design and technological innovation in the field of recording.
